This boy...

... loves all things truck, train, or car...

 

...and all things dinosaur, too.

 

This boy spends most of his day in is pj's...

 

...or dressing up in sunglasses...

...and Daddy's hats, and Mama's shoes...

...and occasionally his brother's binky.

  

This boy adores eating lunch out of silicone muffin trays...

...and sitting {and pooping!} on the potty.

This boy is sweet...

...and inquisitive...

...and {occasionally} wild and silly.

 

This boy loves his little brother...

...{and frogs}.

 

This boy can sing close to 30 children's songs from start to finish,

and says things like...

..."I can't guh-lieve it!"

..."Hi Gigi! How are you doing today? I'm good." {on his pretend phone}

..."No, thank you, I don't want to."

..."It's my wittle bwuther Char-wee!"

..."Oh, are you ok?!"

..."Mama, I want hungry!"

..."Oh, excuse me, Daddy" {when Daddy burps}

and the ever popular...

..."No! It's mine, Jack."

Happy 23 months sweet boy. We're so proud of you and can't believe you're almost 2. What a big boy you've become!

I figured I should post this now, before I have THREE favorite people. :-) And here's a shout out for Daddy, whose birthday was earlier this month, and passed without a mention on the blog! We miss you, Daddy! See you soon!

We had a great day today, including sleeping in, a birthday playdate (which I managed not to get any pictures of) and an Irish dinner with Allison and Kenny and clan. Here are some pics from our evening.

We had a great time at Outback Steakhouse for Father's Day. Jack gave his dad a sweet picture frame with a picture of the two of them.

Jack has recently developed a new favorite toy... just like his mommy he loves the computer.

Except, that I rarely chew on my computer. He is working on two front teeth REALLY hard!

He's also making some progress on trying to crawl. His OTHER new favorite toy is a puppy that was mine as a baby. He really wants it. Go, Jack, go!
Oops... not so much. He'll get it sometime!

A Day with Daddy

Today Jack and Daddy spent most of the day together. I was in and out all day. First was bell practice at 9, then back to nurse and cuddle. Then I went to the grocery store (I'm embarassed to say we haven't been in about a month!) and came home to nurse and play. Then I went with Allison to get a pedicure- what a TREAT! I now have pretty purplish toe nails that Jack was fascinated with this evening. Then Jack and I went over to my teacher-friend Sarah's house to hang out and Daddy stayed home to work on laundry and watch the NFL draft.

Here are a few pictures from the day. Jack now not only loves to bounce in his bouncer, he plays with the toys too. It is so fun for me to watch him learn and grow. I think I learn as much from him as he does from me. Being a mom is the best job ever!
