Independent standing is Jack's newest trick. He's taken 2 or 3 steps a handful of times in the last week as well. He's been practicing hard for that day that he's ready to walk. He's also talking up a storm. Now, in addition to mama, dada, hot, and up, he is consistently saying hi/hi there, apple, and sometimes uh-oh. Since I don't have talking pics, here are some standing pics.

Very good, Jack! Eli is cruising all over the living room with great speed but still leary of going on his own. You'll have to show him how to do it, Jack!!
