Here are some collages of Jack's one year photos. We love Portrait Innovations studio, because they're great with kids, there's no sitting fee (i.e. if your child screams the whole time you don't have to pay), and you get a CD of ALL the pictures no matter what you buy, which is why you get to see so many poses here. Plus, we had a gift certificate, and you can't beat that! Of course, we ordered way too many. It's incredibly tough having such a photogenic child! Bet you all know what you're getting for Christmas!
Normally I'm not a big fan of fake "backgrounds" at all. Maybe it's all the time we spent with the pumpkins yesterday... or the wonderful fall weather we had today... or maybe just the cute kid in front of it, but I thought the fall background was pretty cute.
We had the option of doing different things for the official "Jack is 1" picture, including bringing a cake for him to smash! But, we just opted for the 1 block instead. Although there's no cake destruction, we still found it pretty cute. Plus, I'm so excited that he actually got some of him standing independently, something he only does when he "feels like it." :-)
I don't really love the ones on the black background, but he had some priceless expressions, so there you have it!

They turned out great! Thanks for sharing. Jack is looking so much older now that he is standing by himself with the new haircut. What a little man.
Awwww....can't believe you opted out of the cake pictures! Eli's are too funny...even though he cried afterwards while being cleaned up :)
