Two years ago we welcomed Kennison into the Friedrich family, and it's hard to imagine what life was like (for any of us!) before she came home. Two years ago Allison and Kenny were about to become parents for the first time. One year ago, Kennison was home, and it was Mike and my turn to be first time parents. This year, we had a wonderful evening celebrating her adoption with Kennison, Jack, and Colton. Apparently next year it's our turn to add to the bunch again. :-)Although we aren't Kennison's parents, I know I speak for Mike when I say we love her as if she were our daughter, and her silly smiles, sweet personality, and crazy antics bring smiles to our faces daily. Here are some pictures and a video from our evening.
We gave all three kids a bath before dinner. Then Jack got wrapped up in one of Kennison's pink towels. Daddy loved it. Jack wasn't so sure.
The adoption day girl herself. Oh yeah, and her awesome Aunt Tata me in the picture on the left.
Blowing out the candles on her adoption day peanut butter pie.
Kennison giving Jackey (the name she almost exclusively calls him) a kiss.
Jack and his Daddy
And here's a video from the end of the evening. Excuse the fussy baby at the end... I don't know why his parents let him stay up past his bedtime. Oh wait, that's me...

ummmm, is there something you want to tell about "adding to the bunch again"?????...like an EDD? or am I just reading too much into that statement? I hope we see you and Jack soon! We miss you.
