We've had a wonderful week here in the Friedrich home, as my mom was here hanging out with us and extending Christmas for our little family! Basically we just hung out here, so there's not much to report, but I do have some good pics to share. Believe it or not, I didn't get a single picture of Jack with my mom! This week Jack...
made his usual silly faces.
talked on an Excedrin box phone and played with kitchen utensil drumsticks,
was a blur of activity, as usual,
ran around in an adorable green sweatshirt from my Aunt Carol,
and had a super fun playdate with Callie and Eli (of which I took no pictures).
In other news, Jack needs a haircut, badly. Check out those curls! I've taken to blow drying it at night after his bath, just so he doesn't have a crazy mop (see his "straight hair" above)!
Our New Year's Eve was quiet. We did our traditional fondue, but scaled down since Allison wasn't feeling well and her family decided to stay home. Mike, my mom, Jack (who went to bed at 7) and I had a great time with my good friend Amy, visiting home from Texas. It was so good to see her and catch up... what a great way to ring in 2009!
I've been thinking about this new year, and hope I'll be able to post some "resolutions" this week!

It was to see you guys on Wednesday. I think it's too hilarious that you blow dry his hair-I bet he loves it, though! I think his curls are adorable & would love to see him with a full head of curls sometime :)
I have to say that my daughter, Lilli, makes that same face your son has in the first picture. She sort of breathes fast in and out when she makes it then laughs hysterically!
