The old-fashioned farmer in the dell

Kennison likes to pick up "grown up" books and pretend to read them. She's especially fond of recipe books, and likes to bring a recipe book to me and say, "Ok, Tata, what we need?" She is asking what we need to make this recipe.

Here she is using my 1870 something German version of Luther's small catechism as a songbook, singing to Jack. Too precious not to post!
