Some Halloween Fun! (part 1)

I haven’t uploaded the pictures from Halloween night yet, but here are a couple of the other Halloween activities we participated in this year!

Bass Pro shop had a Charlie Brown Great Pumpkin Halloween event. Since I intended (more on that next time) for the boys to be Charlie Brown, Linus and Snoopy for Halloween, I really wanted to take them. Well, no one was in a great mood (the event was during nap time) and our Bass Pro was a little confused about the timing in their ad. I did snap these two pictures, though!

Then, on Jack’s birthday I took my boys and Kennison to the pumpkin patch. We all had a lot of fun!

How tall are they?

Oops. Lost his shoe! Luckily it was in the stroller. Smile

The kids ran around on the awesome playground, and humored me by taking pictures.

I didn’t attempt a hayride with all four littles (picture Charlie jumping out), but Charlie (well, and the big boys too) looooves trains, so we did take a train ride.

Unfortunately, after coming home and taking a nap Jack got sick. This is what he looked like the rest of his birthday. Sad smile

Post Trick or Treat Snack/Nap

Finally, my parents requested a video of trick or treating. Here you go, Gigi and Papa! Sorry the video quality stinks- it was getting dark and we forgot to turn the garage light on!

Happy Halloween!

And the Birthday continues (the finale)...

My, I just realized that it's been a week since I posted! Other than the week we were in the mountains with no Internet, I think that's a record for me! I have no excuse... what am I saying, I have tons of excuses! After last weekend's hoopla of the Halloween Birthday Playdate (pictures to follow) I was busy getting the house ready for my parents' arrival and the third (and last) birthday party, the family party. And now I've been so busy enjoying my parents, that I'm just getting around to posting.

So, mostly I just have a lot of pictures to share, starting with ones from Jack, Christopher, and Sophia's First Birthday Halloween Playdate! All the kiddos from breastfeeding group, and their mommies too, had a great time!!!

This weekend was Jack's family party, AIRPLANE themed! Since "airplane" was one of Jack's first words, and since we have spent a good portion of his first year on airplanes, I thought it was appropriate. We had a wonderful time!

And here are a few pictures from the week, just because he (and his cousins) are so sweet to photograph.

Trick or Treat!

DSC02027

What a wonderful Halloween we had this year. Last year was wonderful for completely different reasons, as it was the day our tiny Jack-o-lantern came home for the very first time.

Well, this year was slightly less momentous, but so very fun. I put Jack and Colton's costumes on them to go to breastfeeding group, and while it took Jack a bit to warm up and be monster-ish, they were so cute!

This evening we ended up getting together with Grandma, Grandpa, Allison, Kenny, Kennison and Colton for a scary dinner and a little Trick or Treating. Jack and Colton stayed in the wagon except for one house, but they both loved being outside and riding around.

Yesterday Jack, Colton and I went to Kennison's Pumpkin Party at preschool. Kennison was so cute in her ballerina costume, and we all had a great time playing games and chasing each other around the preschool gym.
